Every object in the collection is drawn here at its true size, on one scale that runs the whole page. Start with the whole animal beside a person. Come closer and the drawing narrows to the part of the body the object came from. Closer still and you reach the object itself, at the size it is in the collection.
Scale draws objects at full size. Reduced-scale casts are recorded in the registry and not drawn here.
Reconstructions are drawn as projections. The more of a thing is inferred, the more it shimmers. Solid lines are measured; dashed lines are estimated; dotted lines are reconstructed.
